Department: Neurology

Department Summary: The Department of Neurology has a talented, robust team of faculty and staff members spanning nine divisions including representatives from every neurology subspecialty in adult and child neurology, plus award-winning educators, clinical and translational neuroscientists and master clinicians.

Duties & Responsibilities:

This hourly research associate will support the Principal Investigator in clinical research activities which includes scheduling participant visits, maintaining study records, reviewing study criteria, shipping study material, following up with families, reviewing data collected, data entry and data queries.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from various backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a staff member at VCU.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
  • Prior research or knowledge in pediatric rare disease.
  • Excellent written and spoken skills in English.
  • Able to work collaboratively and professionally with other team members.

Salary Range: $20-$22/hour
