The Department of Chemistry at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Postdoctoral Researcher to join a multidisciplinary research team. The successful candidate will contribute to innovative research at the intersection of native top-down proteomics, structural biology, and estrogen receptor biology.

The Postdoctoral Researcher will conduct independent and collaborative research focused on advancing the understanding of protein structure, function, interactions, and regulation. The position will involve the application of advanced proteomic and structural biology approaches to investigate estrogen receptor biology and related molecular mechanisms.

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible postdoctoral appointment at Virginia Commonwealth University. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative research environment and develop advanced expertise in proteomics, structural biology, and estrogen receptor research.

The position is contingent upon the availability of funding and may be renewed based on performance, research needs, and continued funding availability.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will work closely with faculty, research scientists, students, and collaborators; design and execute experiments; analyze and interpret complex datasets; disseminate research findings through publications and presentations; and contribute to future research projects and funding proposals.

Qualifications:

Qualified applicants will hold a PhD in Chemistry or Biology. Applicants must also have experience applying advanced proteomic and structural biology approaches to investigate estrogen receptor biology and related molecular mechanisms.

Salary Range: $58,000 - $60,000
