The VCU Financial Success Center by Virginia Credit Union (FSC) is dedicated to helping our community achieve financial success. It aims to increase the prominence of financial instruction, research, programming and monitoring among the VCU community.
The FSC provides the VCU community with free personal and professional financial education, including assistance and counseling on budgeting, saving, credit, student loan repayment, career transitions and more. It supports all aspects of financial success through solutions, education and research-oriented financial programs that help reduce debt and increase overall financial confidence.

Position Summary:
The VCU Financial Success Center by VACU is seeking highly motivated and qualified candidates to apply for the role of Financial Success Program Manager. The primary purpose of the Financial Success Program Manager is to guide and counsel students as it relates to personal finance matters including options to pay for college, financing options with persistence to graduation, budgeting, building credit, and minimizing debt. The Financial Success Program Manager will play an active role in creating a culture of care as a part of the student’s success team by fostering meaningful relationships with students and campus partners to enhance the students’ successful university experience.
The Financial Success Program Manager is expected to maintain a high level of professionalism, accountability and collaboration with various VCU campus partners and departments. The Financial Success Program Manager is expected to assist in coordinating and administering the VCU Financial Success Center’s financial well-being and education services while providing individual financial counseling and outreach programming. The Financial Success Program Manager will work closely with the Executive Director, Graduate Assistant(s) and student staff to help manage the operations of the VCU Financial Success Center by VACU.
Please Note: This is a “restricted position” with funding for one year (with potential for renewal). Employment eligibility after one year is dependent upon successful performance and continued funding.

Typical Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, and may require periodic weekend and evening hours. This position is in-person on the VCU Monroe Park Campus in Richmond, VA.
