Duties & Responsibilities:
Position responsibilities duties include, (but are not limited to):
- Facilitate the course objectives
- Meet all designated course instruction guidelines
- Grade assignments and exams in a timely manner based on instructions/rubric provided
- Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours
- Submit final grades according to College and department policies
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in an academic discipline
- Community engagement experience
- Demonstrated experience working in and fostering an environment of respect, professionalism, and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from various backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a staff member at VCU.
Preferred Qualifications
- College-level teaching experience
- Familiarity with the Richmond community, including its history and key social issues
Salary Range:Minimum of $1,437 per credit hour
FLSA Exemption Status: Exempt

Annual security and fire safety report
Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) is committed to assisting all members of the community in providing for their own safety and security.
