Duties & Responsibilities:
VCU’s Facilities Management Department is seeking to hire an Ventilation Technician for Facilities Operations.
The Ventilation Technician utilizes knowledge of the electrical/mechanical trade to perform preventive maintenance, repair, and installation of of building infrastructure, primarily exhaust and fume hood systems ensuring efficient operation of Zone facilities; provides exemplary customer service to all faculty, staff and students supporting the University’s mission of teaching, high-impact research, and creative expression; identifies and documents system deficiencies using diagnostic tools and advise management of tasks requiring priority attention; and provides quality workmanship and service to maximize system availability and minimize unscheduled downtime.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Salary Range: $70,000 ($33.65/hr) - $75,000 ($36.05/hr) + up to $2,500 Sign-on Bonus
